CX®
- Superior impact toughness from very low temperatures to above room temperature
- Especially good for room temperature peripheral applications
FX®
- Excellent all-purpose die steel
- 150-600 F operating temperature
- Excellent fracture resistance
DU®
- Greater Ideal diameter than FX for larger cross sections
- Hardness at core of block will not drop significantly, ideal for deep cavity parts
- High yield strength even at elevated operating temperatures
- Increased wear resistance without significant loss in fracture toughness
WF®
- Longer die life
- Resistant to heat checking
- Higher operating temp than DU
- Similar wear to FX
